# BitePlay vs TouchShort

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TouchShort at 79% against BitePlay's 3%. TouchShort also leads on rating (4.6 vs 1.7) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BitePlay sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per 7 days and TouchShort sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TouchShort holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TouchShort has 1.2K ratings behind it against 154, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 3% of BitePlay's written reviews are positive against 79% of TouchShort's.

BitePlay ships an update monthly, TouchShort every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
