# Upwards vs bookiboo

The clearest difference is update cadence: Upwards at every 3 weeks against bookiboo's every 4 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Upwards sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and bookiboo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Upwards ships an update every 3 weeks, bookiboo every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
