# AI Studio vs MotionLab AI

AI Studio and MotionLab AI both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 67% of MotionLab AI's written reviews are positive against 30% of AI Studio's. AI Studio's advantage is ratings volume (2K vs 22). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Studio sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per 7 days and MotionLab AI sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for AI Studio against 4.5 for MotionLab AI. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Studio has 2K ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 30% of AI Studio's written reviews are positive against 67% of MotionLab AI's.

AI Studio ships an update every 4 weeks, MotionLab AI monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
