# Notes vs Markdown

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Notes at none against Markdown's 1. Notes also leads on iOS requirement (12.4 vs 15.1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Markdown sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Notes asks for nothing beyond the download.
