# Seeing vs NebulaBuds

The clearest difference is ads: NebulaBuds at none against Seeing's shown. NebulaBuds also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). Seeing's advantage is chart position (#41 vs unranked) and ratings volume (70K vs 16K). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Seeing sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $28.99 per 6 months and NebulaBuds sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Seeing holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 70K and 16K respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 26% of Seeing's written reviews are positive against 21% of NebulaBuds's.

Seeing ships an update every 5 weeks, NebulaBuds every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
