# UP vs LeaderTask

The clearest difference is rating: LeaderTask at 4.6 against UP's 4.0. UP's advantage is review sentiment (83% vs 63%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UP sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and LeaderTask sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $39.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LeaderTask holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 10 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of UP's written reviews are positive against 63% of LeaderTask's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
