# Mega Star Events vs Xtream

The clearest difference is update cadence: Xtream at every 2 months against Mega Star Events's every 5 months. Mega Star Events's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Mega Star Events ships an update every 5 months, Xtream every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
