# Simple Rally vs Tessel

The clearest difference is ads: Simple Rally at none against Tessel's shown. Simple Rally also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.5). Tessel's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simple Rally sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tessel sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Simple Rally ships an update every 2 weeks, Tessel every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
