# Scorelyr vs NovaNota

The clearest difference is update cadence: NovaNota at every 6 days against Scorelyr's every 4 weeks. Scorelyr's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scorelyr sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and NovaNota sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
