# Clock Widget vs DSClock

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DSClock at 100% against Clock Widget's 57%. DSClock also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). Clock Widget's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 7 months) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clock Widget sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. DSClock asks for nothing beyond the download.

Clock Widget holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clock Widget has 49 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Clock Widget's written reviews are positive against 100% of DSClock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Clock Widget ships an update fortnightly, DSClock every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
