# Clock Widget vs Brutal Time

The clearest difference is ads: Brutal Time at none against Clock Widget's shown. Clock Widget's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clock Widget sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Brutal Time sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Clock Widget ships an update fortnightly, Brutal Time every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
