# Dancercise vs FreeTutor

The clearest difference is ads: FreeTutor at none against Dancercise's shown. Dancercise's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 9 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dancercise sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $49.00 per month and FreeTutor sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dancercise ships an update monthly, FreeTutor every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
