# spliTrac vs Icedrive

The clearest difference is update cadence: spliTrac at every 2 weeks against Icedrive's every 5 weeks. Icedrive's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. spliTrac sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.49 per month and Icedrive sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

spliTrac ships an update every 2 weeks, Icedrive every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
