# spliTrac vs PinNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: PinNote at every 8 days against spliTrac's every 2 weeks. spliTrac's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. spliTrac sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.49 per month and PinNote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

spliTrac ships an update every 2 weeks, PinNote every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
