# PicSeed vs Notifyman

The clearest difference is monetization model: PicSeed at freemium against Notifyman's subscription. PicSeed also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 87%) and device support (3 vs 1). Notifyman's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (11 vs 3). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PicSeed sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Notifyman sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for PicSeed against 4.9 for Notifyman. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 11 respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of PicSeed's written reviews are positive against 87% of Notifyman's.

PicSeed ships an update fortnightly, Notifyman every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
