# JAIS Chat vs Parkin

The clearest difference is rating: JAIS Chat at 4.0 against Parkin's 2.6. JAIS Chat also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Parkin's advantage is review sentiment (29% vs 0%) and ratings volume (38 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

JAIS Chat holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Parkin has 38 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of JAIS Chat's written reviews are positive against 29% of Parkin's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
