# HoKi vs Maha Live

The clearest difference is rating: Maha Live at 4.0 against HoKi's 3.5. HoKi's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HoKi sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Maha Live sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Maha Live holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HoKi has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

HoKi ships an update every 2 weeks, Maha Live weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
