# NebulaBuds vs Girafit

The clearest difference is rating: NebulaBuds at 4.4 against Girafit's 2.8. NebulaBuds also leads on ratings volume (16K vs 229) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). Girafit's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 12). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NebulaBuds sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Girafit asks for nothing beyond the download.

NebulaBuds holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NebulaBuds has 16K ratings behind it against 229, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of NebulaBuds's written reviews are positive against 28% of Girafit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NebulaBuds ships an update fortnightly, Girafit every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
