# Notewise vs Fixie!

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Fixie! at 100% against Notewise's 54%. Fixie! also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). Notewise's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (282 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notewise sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Fixie! sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fixie! holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notewise has 282 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 54% of Notewise's written reviews are positive against 100% of Fixie!'s.

Notewise ships an update every 2 days, Fixie! fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
