# NoPlex vs SideQuest

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SideQuest at 100% against NoPlex's 50%. SideQuest also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 days). NoPlex's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (66 vs 5). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NoPlex sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and SideQuest sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SideQuest holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NoPlex has 66 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of NoPlex's written reviews are positive against 100% of SideQuest's.

NoPlex ships an update every 5 days, SideQuest every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
