# WeDisciple vs Praying on Offense

The clearest difference is update cadence: WeDisciple at weekly against Praying on Offense's monthly. WeDisciple also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.4). Praying on Offense's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for WeDisciple against 5.0 for Praying on Offense. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Praying on Offense has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

WeDisciple ships an update weekly, Praying on Offense monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
