# Robyn vs WanderBug

The clearest difference is rating: Robyn at 4.8 against WanderBug's 4.0. Robyn also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (248 vs 8). WanderBug's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 24) and review sentiment (100% vs 90%). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Robyn sells 22 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. WanderBug asks for nothing beyond the download.

Robyn holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Robyn has 248 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of Robyn's written reviews are positive against 100% of WanderBug's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Robyn ships an update every 10 days, WanderBug every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
