# Cloudbric VPN vs ORYX VPN

The clearest difference is update cadence: ORYX VPN at every 5 weeks against Cloudbric VPN's every 4 months. ORYX VPN also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). Cloudbric VPN's advantage is ratings volume (49 vs 4). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cloudbric VPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and ORYX VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.1 for Cloudbric VPN against 4.0 for ORYX VPN. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cloudbric VPN has 49 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Cloudbric VPN ships an update every 4 months, ORYX VPN every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
