# Dynamic Dash vs Hot Widgets

The clearest difference is rating: Hot Widgets at 5.0 against Dynamic Dash's 3.1. Hot Widgets also leads on ads (none vs shown). Dynamic Dash's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (14 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dynamic Dash sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Hot Widgets sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hot Widgets holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dynamic Dash has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Dynamic Dash ships an update fortnightly, Hot Widgets every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
