# Persona Chat vs MikuGG

The clearest difference is ads: MikuGG at none against Persona Chat's shown. MikuGG also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 17.0). Persona Chat's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 9 months) and review sentiment (81% vs 67%). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Persona Chat sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and MikuGG sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MikuGG holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 52 and 19 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of Persona Chat's written reviews are positive against 67% of MikuGG's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Persona Chat ships an update every 3 weeks, MikuGG every 9 months. Both last shipped on November 4, 2026.
