# OC vs Video Widget

The clearest difference is ads: Video Widget at none against OC's shown. Video Widget also leads on ratings volume (540 vs 19). OC's advantage is review sentiment (70% vs 40%) and update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OC sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.69 per month and Video Widget sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for OC against 4.3 for Video Widget. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Video Widget has 540 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 70% of OC's written reviews are positive against 40% of Video Widget's.

OC ships an update every 6 days, Video Widget fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
