# Fieldy vs TCTEC

The clearest difference is rating: Fieldy at 4.7 against TCTEC's 4.0. Fieldy also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 4) and chart position (#49 vs unranked). TCTEC's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 66%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fieldy sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and TCTEC sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fieldy holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fieldy has 1.3K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of Fieldy's written reviews are positive against 100% of TCTEC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fieldy ships an update every 10 days, TCTEC every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
