# Connect vs TLDL

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Connect at none against TLDL's 12. Connect also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 73%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). TLDL's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (7.2K vs 2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TLDL sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Connect asks for nothing beyond the download.

Connect holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TLDL has 7.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Connect's written reviews are positive against 73% of TLDL's.

Connect ships an update every 6 months, TLDL every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
