# Electronic Edition 9 vs Vedapath

The clearest difference is rating: Vedapath at 5.0 against Electronic Edition 9's 4.0. Vedapath also leads on review sentiment (92% vs 67%) and ratings volume (18 vs 3). Electronic Edition 9's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Electronic Edition 9 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Vedapath sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vedapath holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vedapath has 18 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of Electronic Edition 9's written reviews are positive against 92% of Vedapath's.
