# Parfour vs GolfShare

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Parfour at none against GolfShare's 5. Parfour also leads on ratings volume (47 vs 6) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). GolfShare's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GolfShare sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $19.00 per month. Parfour asks for nothing beyond the download.

GolfShare holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Parfour has 47 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Parfour ships an update every 2 weeks, GolfShare every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
