# Bambook vs Notee

The clearest difference is update cadence: Notee at weekly against Bambook's every 3 months. Notee also leads on ratings volume (4.7K vs 8) and chart position (#78 vs unranked). Bambook's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bambook sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Notee sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bambook holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notee has 4.7K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Bambook's written reviews are positive against 69% of Notee's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bambook ships an update every 3 months, Notee weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
