# Defer vs OTN

The clearest difference is ads: Defer at none against OTN's shown. OTN's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Defer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and OTN sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Defer ships an update every 2 weeks, OTN every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
