# Brisen vs StudyBlast

The clearest difference is update cadence: StudyBlast at every 2 weeks against Brisen's every 6 months. Brisen's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brisen sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and StudyBlast sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Brisen ships an update every 6 months, StudyBlast every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 11, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
