# BrickNote vs Calda

The clearest difference is monetization model: Calda at free against BrickNote's paid. BrickNote's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 3 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BrickNote ships an update daily, Calda every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
