# Marketlog vs BudgetLog

The clearest difference is update cadence: Marketlog at every 2 weeks against BudgetLog's every 3 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Marketlog sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and BudgetLog sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Marketlog ships an update every 2 weeks, BudgetLog every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
