# HexaGo vs YAFOY !

The clearest difference is review sentiment: YAFOY ! at 80% against HexaGo's 38%. YAFOY ! also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). HexaGo's advantage is ratings volume (5.3K vs 33) and rating (4.9 vs 4.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HexaGo sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and YAFOY ! sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HexaGo holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HexaGo has 5.3K ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of HexaGo's written reviews are positive against 80% of YAFOY !'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HexaGo ships an update every 3 weeks, YAFOY ! every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
