# Magibook vs Reading Tracker

Magibook and Reading Tracker both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 89% of Reading Tracker's written reviews are positive against 75% of Magibook's. Magibook's advantage is ratings volume (3.5K vs 285) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magibook sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Reading Tracker sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Magibook against 4.8 for Reading Tracker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magibook has 3.5K ratings behind it against 285, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 75% of Magibook's written reviews are positive against 89% of Reading Tracker's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 8 days. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
