# Homework Helper vs Scholar AI

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Homework Helper at 201 against Scholar AI's 11. Scholar AI's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks) and review sentiment (67% vs 56%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Homework Helper sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Scholar AI sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Homework Helper against 4.6 for Scholar AI. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Homework Helper has 201 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 56% of Homework Helper's written reviews are positive against 67% of Scholar AI's.

Homework Helper ships an update every 2 weeks, Scholar AI every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
