# Portable USB · Cloud Ready vs JetDrive Go

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Portable USB · Cloud Ready at 82% against JetDrive Go's 39%. JetDrive Go's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.2) and in-app purchases (none vs 2). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Portable USB · Cloud Ready sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. JetDrive Go asks for nothing beyond the download.

JetDrive Go holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: JetDrive Go has 842 ratings behind it against 60, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Portable USB · Cloud Ready's written reviews are positive against 39% of JetDrive Go's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Portable USB · Cloud Ready ships an update every 3 months, JetDrive Go every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 22, 2026.
