# IELTS Reading vs IELTS Develop

The clearest difference is ads: IELTS Reading at none against IELTS Develop's shown. IELTS Reading also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IELTS Reading sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and IELTS Develop sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
