The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Shape Up at none against Galactic Waves's 7. Shape Up also leads on ratings volume (5 vs 1). Galactic Waves's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 10 days). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Galactic Waves sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Shape Up asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Galactic Waves against 5.0 for Shape Up. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shape Up has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
