# Artedex vs AwardTool

The clearest difference is rating: Artedex at 5.0 against AwardTool's 2.7. Artedex also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 4 weeks). AwardTool's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AwardTool sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Artedex asks for nothing beyond the download.

Artedex holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AwardTool has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Artedex ships an update every 8 days, AwardTool every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 16, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
