# FindTag vs Tempic

The clearest difference is rating: Tempic at 5.0 against FindTag's 2.3. FindTag's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (15 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tempic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. FindTag asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tempic holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FindTag has 15 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FindTag ships an update fortnightly, Tempic every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
