# Groovy Goose vs Outside Eats

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Groovy Goose at 270 against Outside Eats's 4. Outside Eats's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs monthly) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Groovy Goose against 5.0 for Outside Eats. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Groovy Goose has 270 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Groovy Goose ships an update monthly, Outside Eats every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
