# ParentPlus vs Schivi

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Schivi at 100% against ParentPlus's 6%. Schivi also leads on rating (5.0 vs 1.7) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 months). ParentPlus's advantage is ratings volume (254 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Schivi holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ParentPlus has 254 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 6% of ParentPlus's written reviews are positive against 100% of Schivi's.

ParentPlus ships an update every 5 months, Schivi every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
