# Palette vs StepChique

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: StepChique at none against Palette's 13. StepChique also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.1). Palette's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 10) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Palette sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. StepChique asks for nothing beyond the download.

StepChique holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Palette has 1.9K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Palette ships an update every 11 days, StepChique every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
