# MPower Careers vs The MS

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MPower Careers at 75% against The MS's 50%. The MS's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.6) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

The MS holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The MS has 203 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of MPower Careers's written reviews are positive against 50% of The MS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MPower Careers ships an update every 2 months, The MS fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
