# ShowDay vs Smart Choices

The clearest difference is update cadence: ShowDay at weekly against Smart Choices's every 11 months. ShowDay also leads on ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ShowDay sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Smart Choices sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
