# ShowDay vs Sparky Habits

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sparky Habits at every 3 days against ShowDay's every 9 days. ShowDay's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ShowDay sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Sparky Habits sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for ShowDay against 5.0 for Sparky Habits. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ShowDay has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ShowDay ships an update every 9 days, Sparky Habits every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
