# Camp Gladiator vs YMCA CTX

The clearest difference is review sentiment: YMCA CTX at 93% against Camp Gladiator's 39%. YMCA CTX also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2). Camp Gladiator's advantage is ratings volume (12K vs 239) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Camp Gladiator sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $79.99 per month. YMCA CTX asks for nothing beyond the download.

Camp Gladiator holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Camp Gladiator has 12K ratings behind it against 239, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of Camp Gladiator's written reviews are positive against 93% of YMCA CTX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Camp Gladiator ships an update every 6 weeks, YMCA CTX every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
